Kalle, Cörrent Components ⚙️
The Symbiosis over with Cörrent Components chewing up aluminium in a container in the mountains. Such a nice place to exist. One has to see it to experience it.

This video is about a man named Kalle who builds custom bicycles using carbon fibre. In the video, Kalle talks about his background, his decision to switch careers, and his current work with CNC machines.
Kalle previously worked as a rail welder in Norway for 10 years. He eventually grew tired of this job and wanted to be closer to his girlfriend who lived 200 kilometers away. He decided to take a job as a ski patrol even though it meant only seeing his girlfriend one month out of the year. This job change sparked his interest in working with carbon fibre.
Kalle started working with carbon fibre as a hobby. He noticed that most major bike brands were not very innovative and were more focused on marketing than creating unique products. This inspired him to start his own company, Corrent Components, to create custom, high-quality bikes.
Kalle builds his bikes using a CNC machine. He likes that this machine allows him to quickly design and create parts. He previously built his own CNC machines, but this one is more accurate and efficient.
Kalle’s current goal is to develop a complete custom bike. He has already designed handlebars and has gotten some pre-orders on bikes. He plans to have a running bike by the end of the year and to continue developing it throughout the winter.
Kalle’s company name, Corrent Components, is a play on words that combines his last name, Strom, with the word “current.” He does not want to mass-produce bikes and instead wants to get to know each of his customers. He plans to keep track of the serial number of each bike and the name of the person who owns it.
