Conventional Machining

Conventional Milling

Sometimes CNC is not the most efficient way to get the Job done! As with all machining strategies the feeds and speeds are of utmost importance. Whether on a CNC or on manual mill – the speeds have got to be right.

Shown here is a jig (fabricated in house) designed to guide the drill bit at the appropriate angle, while being indexed on the 4th axis fixture.

Conventional Turning

No workshop is complete without a conventional lathe. Probably the most useful pieces of kit to have in a workshop! Shown here in the video is the finishing taper being machined onto the large pulley for a custom 4th axis mechanism for one of the CNC routers.
